As a tin whistle and guitar player with a taste for celtic and Australian folk, Dave Wolfe has been adding a bit of whistle to the colonial trad punk outfit 'Catgut Mary' having played in traditional celtic folk band 'Ardmore' since the middle 90s. He's played at a wide range of festivals including Numeralla, Maldon, Illawarra, Kilmore, Mt Dandenong, The Basin, and a few bit parts down at Port Fairy.
Dave is now playing every Sunday arvo at The Acorn on Forest from about 1 to 2 with a mix of original songs, covers and folk joined by Mal Leather and an occasional wandering (or wondering) minstrel.
Located in Melbourne's outer east, Dave has been running sound at a variety of venues for small bands, festivals and parties for several years now, just call if you want any such 'gizmadry' looked after.
